Trip Overview

In Tibetan Dialects, Mt. Kailash means Khang Rimpoche which refers to precious jewel of snow. Mt. Kailash (6,714m/22,028ft) is a spectacular mountain of beauty and grace, with four great carinal faces – northern face is believed to be gold, western ruby, southern sapphire and eastern crystal. This mountain is spiritually venerated and circled by thousands of pilgrim every year but no one have ever attempt the climb.

Mt. Kailash overland tour takes you to the spiritual center Hindu-Buddhist-Jain and Bon religions. Hindu believes that Mount Kaliash is the holy adobe of lord Shiva, Jain calls it the mountain Astapada and believe it as the place of Tishaba. Likewise, Bon calls it mountain of Tise and believe it as the seat of Sipaimen- the Sky Goddess.

Mt. Kailash Mansarovar Tour can be conducted via different route of Nepal, Tibet and India. The most convenient route to Mt. Kailash is from Kodari border but unfortunately it was closed after devastating earthquake in 2015. Kailash Mansarovar tour via Kerung is the most accessible travelling route that takes only 13 days to complete the tour. The itinerary of Kailash Mansoravar tour package offered by Leaf Holidays  allows brief exploration of cultural, natural and religious landmarks of Tibet.

Trip to Mt. Kailash is an exhilarating travelling experience into the remote and far flung part of windswept country. Kailash Mansarovar yatra package cost includes all the transportation, accommodation, guide, porter and meals expenses during the tour. We also offer Kailash Mansarovar Yatra helicopter package for 2017 which easiest way to travel but it is quite expensive.
